Biography
Kate Spurlock was born in Bristol, Tennessee. She graduated from Tennessee High School. She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga in 2009 and a law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2015. Her career experience includes working as an assistant state attorney.[1]

- My judicial philosophy is I am a textualist. That means that I believe it is a Judge's role to follow the law as it is written and not to legislate from the bench.
- I believe a Circuit Judge should have current courtroom experience including significant trial experience.
- I believe a Judge should have a calm demeanor on the bench and treat all parties appearing before the Court with respect.
