Kate Stickles is a judge of the United States Bankruptcy Court District of Delaware. Stickles assumed office on April 6, 2021. Stickles' current term ends on April 6, 2035.

Education

Stickles earned an undergraduate degree cum laude from Western Maryland College in 1984. She graduated from Temple University School of Law in 1989.[1]

Career

Prior to joining the court, Stickles practiced law in Wilmington, Delaware. She served as a member with the Bankruptcy and Corporate Restructuring Department at Cole Schotz P.C. Stickles worked as a partner with the Bankruptcy and Restructuring Practice at Saul Ewing LLP, and as a director at Prickett, Jones, Elliott, Kristol & Schnee, P.A.[1]

Stickles has served as a fellow with the American College of Bankruptcy. She has serviced as a chair, vice chair, and as a secretary of the Bankruptcy Section with the Delaware State Bar Association. Stickles has served as a master with the Delaware Bankruptcy American Inn of Court.[1]
