Katherine Bernards-Goodman was a Third Judicial District judge in Utah. She was appointed by Governor Gary Herbert in June 2010.[1]

Elections

2014

Bernards-Goodman was retained to the Third District with 74.4 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014.[2] 

Performance evaluations

The Utah Judicial Performance Evaluation Commission, following a 2014 survey, recommended that Judge Bernards-Goodman be Retained. The full report is available here.

Education

Bernards-Goodman received both her undergraduate degree and J.D. from the University of Utah.[3]

Career

Immediately prior to her appointment to the bench, Bernards-Goodman was an assistant division chief for the Salt Lake District Attorney's Office.[1]
