Katherine Dockweiler is the Nevada State Board of Education Senate Majority Leader Nominee. She assumed office on March 18, 2019. Her term ended on March 30, 2025.

Gov. Steve Sisolak (D) appointed her in May 2019 to succeed Tonia Holmes-Sutton.[1] Dr. Dockweiler was reappointed to a two-year term on October 5, 2021.[2]

Biography

Katherine Dockweiler earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse and a graduate degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Her career experience includes working as a policy researcher.[3]
