Kathianne Knaup Crane was a judge for the Court of Appeals for the Eastern District of Missouri. She was appointed to this position by Governor John Ashcroft in July of 1990 and retained in 1992 and 2004. From 1995 to 1996, she served as the court's chief judge. Her term would have expired on December 31, 2016, but instead Crane officially retired on August 15, 2013.[1][2]

Education

Crane received her undergraduate degree from Washington University, St. Louis after studying abroad at the University of Strasbourg. She went on to earn her J.D. from St. Louis University School of Law.[1]
