Kathie Davidson

Kathie Davidson was a judge for the Westchester County Family Court in New York. She began serving in this position on January 5, 2004, following her election on November 4, 2003. She has also served as the Supervising Judge of the Family Courts of New York's 9th Judicial District (Westchester County) since 2004. Additionally, she was an acting justice of the Supreme Court 9th Judicial District.[1][2] Davidson was re-elected to the Westchester County Family Court on November 5, 2013.[3][4]

Education
Davidson received her B.A. degree from Simmons College and her J.D. degree from the Howard University School of Law.[1][2]
Career
Davidson has worked as a hearing officer for the New York City Board of Education, a law guardian for the Legal Aid Society's Juvenile Rights Division, an investigative attorney for the State Education Department and a sole practitioner with an emphasis in family law. Prior to her judicial election, she worked as a Deputy County Attorney for the Westchester County Law Department. She joined the Family Court in 2004 and became the Supervising Judge in 2007.[1][2]
