I'm a conservative outsider - meaning I've never run for office before now. I've lived in Utah the past 35 years. Utah's CD4 deserves to be represented by someone who shares Utah's values. It's time to get back to the basics of government for, of and by the people. No more career politicians!

Common Sense
I believe there are two:

Is this something the federal government is permitted to do per the constitution?

If so, is it a necessary and proper use of taxpayer money?
That I was an honest, hardworking, respectful and responsive Representative.
When I was in junior high school, as part of my US Civics class, I studied the 1980 Presidential election between Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter. This experience ignited a lifelong love of US History and government for me.
These is My Words (The Diary of Sarah Agnes Prine 1881-1901) by Nancy Turner

I loved this story of a strong, resilient woman in the Arizona territory. Despite much adversity, she never lost her ability to love, learn and grow.
It's the federal office closest to the People. It's imperative that anyone who serves in this position is accessible and responsive to those they represent.
Absolutely not. In large part, I think that's exactly why government is such a mess. No more career politicians!
Trends toward Socialism, open borders, gun confiscation and a growing lack of civility in politics. We must preserve and protect the US Constitution and the freedoms and liberties safeguarded there.
I'm happy to serve wherever I can be of the most service to my Congressional District and State.
Unfortunately, it seems like those who serve in this office spend most of their time running for re-election.
I support term limits because I know how difficult it is to vote out incumbents - even ones who are not very effective.
I'm happy to serve in any capacity if it allows me the opportunity to best represent my Congressional District and State.
