Kathleen Barton was a write-in candidate for Position 1 representative on the Pasco Board of Directors in Washington. She lost in the general election on November 3, 2015. Opposition
Two of the five seats on the Pasco Board of Directors were up for at-large general election on November 3, 2015. Positions 1 and 2 were on the ballot.
Position 1 incumbent Scott Lehrman and Position 2 incumbent Ryan Brault ran for re-election. Brault was defeated by challenger Aaron Richardson in the general election. Lehrman was running unopposed for the Position 1 seat until Kathleen Barton, a former Pasco teacher, announced she would run against him. She ran as a write-in candidate, and her name did not appear on the ballot.[2][1] Despite the write-in challenge, Lehrman won the election and retained his seat.
