Kathleen H. Sanberg
Kathleen H. Sanberg was chief judge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Minnesota. Her 14-year appointment to the court began on August 14, 2012. She succeeded Judge Robert J. Kressel. On May 24, 2016, she was designated as the chief judge of the court to succeed Gregory F. Kishel, who retired on May 31, 2016. Judge Sanberg's three-year term as chief judge began on June 1, 2016.[1][2] Sanberg retired from the court on January 6, 2022.[3]
Education
Sanberg received her undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota in 1979, and her J.D. from the University of Minnesota School of Law in 1982.[1]
