Kathleen Jackson (Texas)
Kathleen Jackson is a member of the Texas Public Utility Commission. She assumed office on August 5, 2022. Her current term ends on October 1, 2027.
Gov. Greg Abbott (R) swore in Jackson as Chair of the Texas Public Utility Commission on June 7, 2023, to replace Peter Lake on an interim basis. She served in this capacity until January 2024. [1][2]
Biography
Kathleen Jackson earned a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from North Carolina State University. Jackson's career experience includes working as a public affairs manager. She has served as a board member and the president of the Lamar Institute of Technology Foundation, the president of the American Cancer Society of North Jefferson County, and a board member of Junior Achievement of the Golden Triangle.[3]
