Kathleen Maria Shaw was a Democratic candidate for District 2 in the Texas State Senate in the November 2, 2010, state legislative elections.

Shaw ran for election to the 2nd District seat in 2010. She ran unopposed in the March 2 primary. She was defeated by incumbent Bob Deuell (R) general election on November 2, 2010.[1]

Political career
Shaw serves as an alternate representative on the Advisory Council of House District 109.
Before running for the Texas State Senate, Shaw was a Chair for Dallas County Precinct 4109 and Community Coordinator of the Parkway Subdivision in Cedar, Texas.
In 2005, Shaw was a Cedar Hill City Council candidate and still holds membership.
