Kathleen Trued was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 6 of the Florida State Senate. She ran unsuccessfully for the same seat in 2012.

Kathleen Trued was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent John Thrasher defeated Derek Hankerson in the Republican primary.
