Campaign themes

2016

The following issues were listed on Nances' campaign website. For a full list of campaign themes, click here.

  • Jobs: Republicans and Democrats both agree, we must stop making bad trade deals that have cost us millions of jobs to China and destroyed our manufacturing base. Our farmers must be allowed full and free access to foreign markets. These trade deals, which Congressman McNerney supports, are killing our middle class and hurting our farmers.
  • Immigration: Our immigration system is beyond broken. Increased crime because of lawless "Sanctuary Cities", flow of methamphetamine and failure to deport criminals and secure our border must stop. I will vote to end ALL federal funding to "Sanctuary Cities" until they obey the law of the land.
  • Obamacare: I will support health insurance competition across state lines and Medical Savings Accounts to replace the disaster that Obamacare has become. Our families must be given choices and we must end the massive premium hikes that Obamacare supports and McNerney voted for.
  • Water: Our agricultural community depends on a dependable water supply. I will protect our water rights and stop the bureaucrats from attacking farmers and killing our job base.
  • Washington: I will stand up to the corruption and be the voice we need to fight every day for bringing back principle and integrity to our nation's capital.
