Kathy Ashe
Kathy Ashe is a former Democratic member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing the 56th District from 1991 to 2013. She served as the House minority treasurer.
Ashe was a teacher at Marietta and Cobb County Public Schools from 1969-1977.
She is a member of the Atlanta Community Food Bank, Atlanta Urban League, Atlanta Women's Network, Buckhead Business Association, Central Health Center, Children's School, City of Atlanta Child Care Task Force, and the Georgia Conservancy.[1]

In 2008 Ashe was re-elected to the Georgia House of Representatives District 56. Ashe (D) ran unopposed and finished with 14,855 votes.[3] Ashe raised $48,301 for her campaign fund.[4]
