Over the past six years I have been committed to safe neighborhoods for our families, economic growth, and parks and recreation opportunities for our seniors and our children. We have made great progress in all three of these areas. I am a wife, mother, civil servant, volunteer, business owner and a lifelong resident of Fayetteville's north side. I moved to the Kinwood subdivision at 6 months old, attended Long Hill Elementary School, Pine Forest Junior High School and graduated from Pine Forest High School.
My service to Fayetteville has given me great joy throughout my time as a city council woman. I want to continue to build upon the great things that we as a council have built together, whether its the continuation of growth in downtown Fayetteville with our brand new minor league team of the Fayetteville Woodpeckers, the revitalization of the Fayetteville Aiport, the reinstating of the Fayetteville Cumberland Youth Council, or the birth of our own Fayetteville Millennial Advisory Council. These are only a few of the things that I want to continue to help move forward for the city of Fayetteville. Our collaboration between Methodist University, Fayetteville State University, and the US Government with our Parks and Recreation Bond will be of lifetime benefit to the residents of not only District 1, but all our residents in Fayetteville, and I am running for re-election to continue to bring more opportunities like this to our great city.
I bring experience, dedication, a business mind, and compassion to the table.
I started working in my family business when I was 6 years old. I have continued to work in this business to this day. My first job outside of my family business, I was a school bus driver at the age of 16 and worked all the way through high school.
