Kathy Knight Burns
Kathy Knight Burns was a member of the Nassau County School District school board in Florida, representing District 5. Burns assumed office in 1998.
Burns was unopposed in the general election on August 26, 2014. The school board election was canceled after the filing deadline due to a lack of candidates.[1]

Incumbents Donna Martin and Kathy Knight Burns and challenger Jamie Deonas were unopposed after the June 20, 2014 filing deadline. All three candidates won terms on the board due to the lack of opposition. Deonas will replace District 3 member Amanda Young, who initially filed for re-election but did not qualify for the ballot.[2]

Burns reported $1,100 in contributions and $1,072.68 expenditures to the Nassau County Supervisor of Election, as of July 24, 2014.[3]

Burns received no official endorsements in the election.
2010
Burns won election without opposition in the 2010 election.[4]
