Kathy Miles
Kathy Miles was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 15 of the South Dakota State Senate.
Miles was a Democratic member of the South Dakota State Senate from 2009 to 2011, representing the 15th District. Miles lost in the Democratic primary for her seat on June 8, 2010.[1]
Miles served in the South Dakota State House from 2002 to 2008.
Biography
Miles is a registered nurse and has worked as a clinic nurse manager.

Miles ran for election to the South Dakota State Senate. She ran as an Independent in District 15 and was defeated by incumbent Angie Buhl (D) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2]

Miles was defeated by Angie Buhl in the primary election for the 15th District Seat on June 8, 2010. Buhl received 398 votes while Miles received 276. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.
2008
On Nov. 4, 2008, Miles won election to the 15th District Seat in the South Dakota State Senate, defeating opponents Tracy Saboe (R) and Steve Willis (C).[3]
Miles raised $8,523 for her campaign while Saboe raised $3,336 and Willis raised $0.[4]
