Kathy R. Mangeot is the chief district court judge for the 48th District Court, which presides over Franklin County in Kentucky.[1] She was elected in 2006 and re-elected without opposition in 2010 and 2014.[2][3][4][5][6] Her four-year term expired on January 6, 2019.[7]

Education

Mangeot received a B.B.A. from the University of Kentucky, going on to earn her J.D. there as well. She was admitted to the bar in 1994.[8]

Career

Prior to joining the bench, Mangeot was an attorney with the law firm of McNamara & Jones.[2]
