Biography

Sheehan graduated with a bachelor's degree in journalism from Bowling Green State University and worked in communications before pursuing a law degree. After graduating from Albany Law School, she worked for a medical device manufacturer, including as general counsel and vice president. Before becoming mayor of Albany, Sheehan was the city's treasurer.[1]
