Kathryn G. Wood is a district court judge for the 28th District Court, which presides over Pulaski and Rockcastle counties in Kentucky.[1] She was appointed by Governor Ernie Fletcher in October 2005 and was re-elected without opposition in 2010 and 2014.[2][3][4][5] Her four-year term expired on January 6, 2019.[6]

Education

Wood earned a B.A. from Eastern Kentucky University, going on to receive her J.D. from Northern Kentucky University's Salmon P. Chase College of Law. She was admitted to the bar in 1996.[7]

Career

Prior to her judicial appointment in 2005, Wood was an attorney in private practice.[2]
