Three of seven seats on the Northside Independent School District (Bexar County) board of trustees in Texas were up for by-district general election on May 6, 2017. District 6 incumbent Carol Harle defeated challenger Paul Gass. Due to lack of opposition, the races in Districts 5 and 7 were canceled, and incumbents Katie Reed and Karen Freeman were automatically re-elected to their respective seats.[1][2]
