Biography
Katie Sponsler was born in Warren, Ohio. She served in the United States Air Force from 2001 to 2011. Sponsler received associate's degrees in 2008 and 2009 from the Community College of the Air Force. Her professional experience includes serving as a park ranger at Petersburg National Battlefield and being a waitress, cook, and personal trainer.[1][2]

A primary election took place on June 13, 2017. The filing deadline for primary election candidates was March 30, 2017. The filing deadline for non-party candidates and candidates nominated by methods other than a primary was June 13, 2017.[3] Incumbent Kirk Cox (R) defeated Katie Sponsler (D) in the Virginia House of Delegates District 66 general election.[4]

- Our environment is not just climate change, it is the landfills and factories in our our backyards. We must address the air, water and soil pollution in our district.
It's discussion of the human experience and how that forms us in different ways causing a deep internal look no matter how many times I read it and that is what I think all the best books do.
