I am here to approach problem solving on the level of government the same way I have approached my life -- nonpartisan, collaborative, with a curiosity and willingness to innovate and establish win-win solutions to the best of my ability. In U.S. Government, we really only have a few authorities we really can look to for guidance, and I take those authorities seriously -- those being The Constitution of the United States of America, and the Declaration of Independence. If we look to these documents, we can restore our hope and trust in a future that serves the American people to satisfaction -- it's promised, folks. We just have to unite and hold our officials to take the words to heart. I truly believe that if we approach some of our biggest problems with a different mindset, one that takes all our well being into consideration, we CAN find compromises and solutions that serve us all. Don't give in to the us vs. them hype. It gets us nowhere. There are other ways to get things done. I can't make you any promises, but I am confident in my ability to find and maximize common interests. I wouldn't be doing this otherwise. I hope you'll join me in trying something new. I can be unconventional at times, but I have found I am ahead of my time in many regards. Come hop on this train while it's here!
