Kay Coen is an at-large representative on the Blue Springs School District school board in Missouri. Coen was initially appointed to the position in 2011. Coen won another term without opposition on April 4, 2017.

Coen is a retired library media specialist who worked for the Blue Springs School District for 27 years. She has two children who are graduates of the district.[1]

Three seats on the Blue Springs School District school board were up for at-large general election on April 4, 2017. Board members Kay Coen, Dale Falck, and Dale Walkup were unopposed in their re-election bids. Due to lack of opposition, the election was canceled and the incumbents were automatically re-elected.[2][3]

Due to lack of opposition this election was canceled, and Coen was automatically re-elected.
