|My government and legal research has been published by Johns Hopkins University. I hold 12 certificates of recognition from local and federal government officials for my education and volunteer contributions. I earned three associate's degrees from Mt. San Antonio College, a bachelor's degree from Grand Canyon University, and a master's degree from Johns Hopkins University, making me the youngest graduate from each institution. I have experience as a legal administrator for the Law Offices of James Wang and legislative experience through a congressional internship, in addition to private tutoring and college consulting. I currently serve as the operations director for the Purist Group in Walnut, a position I have held for several years. I also serve on the board of directors for the Chinese-American Association of Walnut. I am regularly involved with leadership, volunteering, and event coordination with government officials and law enforcement. I have also presided over the first-ever model constitutional convention in an elected capacity. Reach out, let’s talk: lawforcouncil.com @lawforcouncil
lawforcouncil@gmail.com- Safety: Safety is a non-negotiable. I will implement a safety commission, business watch, improve overall safety through promoting neighborhood watch groups and community relations with the sheriffs department. Walnut is safe, but it can always be safer. Through my community service, I have earned the endorsement from the 33rd Los Angeles Sheriff Alex Villanueva, the Association for Los Angeles Deputy Sheriffs, and many retired deputies.
- Protecting green space: Green space is a historic part of Walnut. This requires upkeep and protection. I will improve code enforcement, protect our green space, and improve quality of life in Walnut. Moreover, we must take another look at the homelessness policies here in Walnut.
- Community engagement and improving the economy: Walnut is home to many small businesses, which are a key part of the culture and economy. In order to sustain those businesses we must ensure they are supported. We need to improve community engagement, through more events and community services.
I view this purely as community service, as you serve the people, meaning the people deserve the highest level of integrity and transparency possible.
I believe that my skills and experiences would complement the current council. The council works as a body, and I would be one of five votes. I intend to use my skills to keep our city proactive.
