Keali'i Lopez is the former Hawaii Director of Commerce and Consumer Affairs.[1] She was appointed to the position by Gov. Neil Abercrombie on December 4, 2010, and confirmed by the Hawaii Senate the following February. Lopez's term ended on December 1, 2014, and she was not reappointed.[2]

Lopez is a graduate of Kaiser High School and holds a B.S. in communications from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She worked in the Distance Education Program at Kamehameha Schools and with the Hawaii Public Utilities Commission in the development of a statewide telecommunications infrastructure. Immediately before her appointment as director, she was serving as President and CEO of Olelo Community Media where she oversaw the expansion of community media centers to seven public schools.[2]
