Ballotpedia biographical submission form

What is your political philosophy?

Capitalism is a system where workers do not have control of the value they produce. There has been no response for workers since the global crash of Capitalism in 2008 as the Wall Street Class has secured their own recovery by suppressing wages, foreclosing on homes, investing in private prisons, and accelerating global warming by investing in fossil fuels. Our cost of living keeps increasing because this system values profit over people. I, along with the NC Green Party, act to inspire the working people of Forsyth County to organize so that, United, we can overcome our limitations of time and resources, and build independent political power, breaking from Capitalism.

In so doing, the many will have control of their own employment opportunities instead of the few wealthy controlling the choices.

Is there anything you would like to add?

Rent control tied to wages. Make housing a guarantee for workers and the disabled.

In public schools we should teach how to apply democracy at workplaces. Public education should be funded according to teacher and student needs.

A real democracy doesn't treat immigration as a a law enforcement issue. Immigrants aren't taking jobs. The bosses are making profit. The Sheriff's department must stop honoring INS detainer requests.

A real democracy doesn't have mass incarceration which has been driven by contracts to prison services that profit from non-violent offenses. Legalize Cannabis and stop destroying lives.

We will have a renewable powered, publicly owned, electric grid built in Forsyth County from a graduated tax on the largest property owners while exempting small landowners from taxes. Abolish the sales tax.[2]
