Keith E. Tanaka
Keith E. Tanaka was a judge of the Maui Second Circuit Family Court of Hawaii. He was appointed by Hawaii Supreme Court Chief Justice Ronald Moon on January 3, 2007, to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Reinette Cooper, and unanimously confirmed by the Hawaii State Senate.[1][2] Tanaka retired from the bench on August 31, 2017.[2]
Biography
Tanaka earned a B.A. and a J.D. from the University of Hawaii. His professional experience includes work as a deputy public defender for the state of Hawaii, an attorney in private practice, and a high school teacher for the state Department of Education.[1][3]
