Keith Hiraoka is a judge on the Hawaii Intermediate Court of Appeals. Gov. David Ige (D) nominated Hiraoka on October 5, 2018.[1]
Hiraoka was a judge of the O'ahu First Circuit of Hawaii from 2017 to 2018. He was appointed by Gov. David Ige (D) on February 9, 2017, and confirmed by the Hawaii State Senate on March 3, 2017.[2][3]
Biography
Keith Hiraoka earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 1980 and a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley's Boalt Hall School of Law in 1983.[1][2] Before his appointment to the O'ahu First Circuit in 2017, Hiraoka worked in private practice, specializing in insurance coverage and representation of professionals who had been sued.[2]
