Additionally, our local schools are unable to retain and recruit teachers. Kelcey will advocate for additional investment from the general assembly to incentivize teaching staff to work

within our local schools and ensure student success. Lastly, Kelcey will support efforts to increase educational opportunities for all students. He understands that a child’s future

should not be determined by their zip code.

As such, Kelcey strongly believes that farmers are the backbone of our country and that family farms are the foundation of our rural communities. That’s why Kelcey is committed to supporting policies that help farmers thrive, such as increasing access to markets, removing burdensome regulations, promoting sustainable agriculture, and investing in rural infrastructure. Kelcey will work tirelessly to ensure that family farms have the resources they need to succeed and that our rural communities remain vibrant and strong.
  • Veterans Our veterans have served our country with honor and distinction, and it is our duty to ensure that they receive the care and support they deserve. Kelcey feels that an elected official is a public servant. As such his priorities are helping the citizens of his district and state.
Kelcey believes in putting others first and defending those who cannot defend themselves. These values go well with a public servant. Kelcey is someone that will put the needs of his district and state above any selfish need of his own. He understands that this isn’t a job but a calling to serve.
The states budget is their decision on how to spend the tax payers money. As such, the tax payer should have full disclosure on where that money goes. Blind votes, last minute bills, and other such bills should never be used when making decisions on how to spend the people’s money.
