Kellen Curry is a Republican Candidate for New York’s 3rd Congressional District in 2024. As a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy Kellen spent eight years on active duty delivering critical cyber security technology for our country’s military and completed two tours of duty in Afghanistan. After completing his Master of Business Administration degree at George Washington University, Kellen went on to work at J.P. Morgan’s Corporate and Investment Banking Division in New York City. Kellen believes his extensive experience working in national security and in our national economy will serve him well in his bid for Congress. Kellen continues to serve our nation in the Air Force Reserves and is a student at Columbia University pursuing a Master of Science in Sports Management where he also volunteers with Positive Coaching Alliance, a non-profit organization which strives to create a positive youth sports environment in communities across the country.
  • Kellen’s campaign is built on honest leadership and core American values including strong national security, low taxes, limited government, and free market enterprise.
  • As a member of Congress Kellen will champion lowering the cost of living on Long Island, secure federal funding to rebuild our U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point NY, and help address the shortage of youth mental health services in our public schools.

  • As a former Vice President at JP Morgan, Kellen is a natural fit for the House financial service committee where he will draw upon his experience working in the nation's economy to advance policies to create jobs and grow the economy.
As the grandson and son of veterans, and a Afghanistan War veteran, I know the sacrifices our military families make to keep our country safe. I'm deeply troubled by the disastrous withdrawal of our presence from Afghanistan which diminished America's global standing and left veterans asking ourselves: was it worth it? Today, we no longer have a human intelligence gathering capability there and it has again become a safe haven for terrorists to orchestrate attacks against our allies, homeland, and American forces operating in the Middle East. As a member of Congress, I will advocate for redoubling our efforts to strengthen international alliances to protect against rising global threats.
