I have dedicated myself to serving the communities of Southwest Indiana. I am the Administrator of the Daviess County Health Department and the President of the Knox County Board of Commissioners.

First caucused into the office in 2016, I currently serving in her eighth year as a Knox County Commissioner. As Commissioner, I have worked to build partnerships with municipalities within the county and work collaboratively with the County Council. I serve on several boards and commissions where I advocate for Southwest Indiana including, the Good Samaritan Hospital Board of Governors, the Knox County Indiana Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors, the Association of Indiana Counties, the Indiana Behavioral Health Commission. I am the current President of the Indiana County Commissioners Association.

Originally from rural Kentucky, I have made Southwest Indiana my home. I reside in Freelandville, where my three children, Beau, Allie, and Tucker, attend or have graduated from North Knox Schools. I have two grandchildren. I am a member of Word of Life Church in Bicknell. I also serve as the Vice Chair of the Knox County Republican Party.
  • I will stand for protecting local control. I will protect our agriculture assets and property rights.
  • Road and bridge funding for rural Indiana is critical for our viability. I will advocate for Counties infrastructure needs and its priority in the road funding formula decisions.
  • We must continue to invest in ways to bring providers into the rural healthcare system, address reimbursement rates for rural hospitals/emergency medical services, support services for infants and children to break the cycle of adult criminal justice related issues and costs

Honest, ability to listen, stand up and speak for the people that you serve, accessible and principled.
As a County Official I have been very successful because of my ability to build relationships with all municipalities, businesses, not-for-profits, State officials, hospitals, public safety agencies, and agriculture no matter their size, political affiliations or subject. I can effectively mediate and find solutions instead of building barriers and forcing a stalemate.
A Representative must be connected to the County, City and Town officials, residents, farmers, businesses, schools in the District so that they can responsibly write, pass, propose amendments and defend legislation for/or against District 45.
An open door policy, both ways, for open communication so that all Hoosiers have the best representation possible.
State and local tax reform.
Health insurance practices and Medicaid reform.
Yes. We all need to work together and understand the needs of all Hoosiers so that our decisions do not negatively impact anyone.
I often hear stories of families that have battled with mental health and addiction that have recovered and saved their life, their children's lives and healthy babies be born because of programs and support that I have worked hard on and will continue to.
