Biography
Kellie Streeter earned a high school diploma from Apollo High School and a bachelor's degree from Kentucky Wesleyan College in 2004. Her career experience includes working in government administration. As of 2024, Streeter was affiliated with the Indiana County Commissioners Association and the Association of Indiana Counties Board of Directors.[1]

First caucused into the office in 2016, I currently serving in her eighth year as a Knox County Commissioner. As Commissioner, I have worked to build partnerships with municipalities within the county and work collaboratively with the County Council. I serve on several boards and commissions where I advocate for Southwest Indiana including, the Good Samaritan Hospital Board of Governors, the Knox County Indiana Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors, the Association of Indiana Counties, the Indiana Behavioral Health Commission. I am the current President of the Indiana County Commissioners Association.
Originally from rural Kentucky, I have made Southwest Indiana my home. I reside in Freelandville, where my three children, Beau, Allie, and Tucker, attend or have graduated from North Knox Schools. I have two grandchildren. I am a member of Word of Life Church in Bicknell. I also serve as the Vice Chair of the Knox County Republican Party.- I will stand for protecting local control. I will protect our agriculture assets and property rights.
- Road and bridge funding for rural Indiana is critical for our viability. I will advocate for Counties infrastructure needs and its priority in the road funding formula decisions.
- We must continue to invest in ways to bring providers into the rural healthcare system, address reimbursement rates for rural hospitals/emergency medical services, support services for infants and children to break the cycle of adult criminal justice related issues and costs
