Devine ran in the 2012 election for Pennsylvania House District 150. Devine ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on April 24 and was defeated by incumbent Mike Vereb (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[1]

Devine lists her top three priorities as education, infrastructure, and the environment. She opposes higher gas taxes to pay for road repairs, but instead would pay for infrastructure upgrades and repairs through a 5% extraction tax on natural gas producers.[2]
