- Healthy Economy for All Minnesotans: I support meaningful and permanent tax cuts that help hardworking Minnesotans keep more of their own money and combating inflation by growing our workforce, strengthening supply chains and cutting red tape. We need pro-growth policies that strengthen small businesses, encourage innovation and entrepreneurship, and more good-paying jobs.
- Safe Communities: Everyone should feel safe in our community. We must support law enforcement, hold criminals accountable, provide opportunities for real rehabilitation, and bolster mental health support services.
- Strong Schools: Every young person in Minnesota deserves an education that gives them the opportunity to succeed and thrive. We need schools focused on academics - not politics- and must recognize parents' fundamental right to be involved in their child's education. Additionally, we need to keep our best teachers in the classroom.

2014
Fenton's website highlighted the following campaign themes:
“ | Jobs/Economy
Minnesota has a high quality work force, a strong work ethic, and a rich culture of innovation and hard work. We can build on these strengths to grow healthy Minnesota families. As your voice in St. Paul, my goal will be to move our economy forward by promoting legislation aimed at keeping jobs in our state while encouraging others to expand in Minnesota. Building a healthy economy starts with reversing the trend of job-killing taxes, reducing government red tape and unnecessary regulations that burden our job creators. Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
