Kelly Gee
Kelly Gee (Republican Party) is the Virginia Secretary of State. She assumed office on February 8, 2024. Her current term ends on January 17, 2026.
Governor Glenn Youngkin (R) appointed Gee to Virginia Secretary of State on September 1, 2023, to replace Kay Coles James (R). The state legislature confirmed her appointment on February 8, 2024.[1]
Biography
Gee received an associate degree from Richard Bland College of William & Mary, a bachelor's degree in government from William & Mary, and a master's degree in political science and government from Virginia Tech. Gee's career experience includes serving as the executive director of the Virginia Lottery.[2]
