I'm Kelly Johnson and I'm the best candidate for Florida State House District 65. I've lived in the Dunedin, Palm Harbor, and Tarpon Springs area my entire life.

This district is my home. I've seen firsthand the changes to the environment, businesses, and people here. I know from personal experience how critical it is to not only look like a representative for this region, but act like it.

District 65 needs smart well rounded leadership to propel it into the future. In a post COVID-19 economy, I will push hard to vote for legislation that makes sense and protects the environment. I will work to make the our streets and schools safer by supporting smart gun laws, while ensuring citizens keep their rights to feel safe. I will strive to help pull more Floridians out of poverty by proposing ways to increase incomes and lessen the burden on the welfare system. I will protect healthcare and support expanding our current system. I will support programs that help citizens become homeowners. And I will continue to work with the people to ensure that discrimination has no place in any law in the future.

This year your vote will shape our new post COVID-19 world. Make sure you cast it for the right person. And if you're in district 65 cast it for me!
  • I will support proactive policies that put our fragile environment first
  • I will fight for small businesses and help give them tools and smart programs to ensure their success
  • I will protect healthcare for all citizens and ensure they do not get discriminated against because of pre-existing conditions
I am most passionate about helping to form a post COVID-19 economy. Due to the pandemic Floridians had to rely on big government. Big government failed us. Small businesses had to permanently shutter their doors, families were effected and experienced poverty due to the total system failure of the unemployment program, and citizens lost their homes. We have a healthcare system that is overloaded and not prepared to face another disaster.

We must create a Florida that is built on a strong foundation so that we will weather the storms and quickly recover
Esther. Because she risked her life to save the people. She went to the king which meant death to tell of the way the government was mistreating the people
I am smart and very passionate about people. As a mother of 8 I've learned how to navigate different sides to reach solutions to all kinds of problems. I am a scientific researcher and know the impact of our neglect with the environment. As i struggled through life I learned how to fight and not back down. I am for the people and will continue to serve people for the rest of my life.
I would like to inspire others to stand up fight for change and serve in government in some way to create progressive change for the future
I held my first job for 2 years selling flowers
My favorite book is the one my daughters read to me. Goodnight Moon because they read it with joy
