Born and reared in Magnolia, MS. I am entered the US Navy after graduating 2nd in my HS class. Studied Nuclear Power in the Navy and subsequently left to pursue higher education. I earned a Bachelor, an MBA, and a PhD in Public Policy after the military. I have worked mainly in the financial services and transportation industries throughout my professional career. As a community leader, I have served on Fulton Co Zoning Board, former Treasurer to the Coalition for South Fulton Now which led to the created of the city of South Fulton, a member of Kappa Alpla Psi, INC, board member for the The Main Street Academy and Serenbe Playhouse. I enjoy cooking, reading, writing, running, and currently in training for a physique competition.
  • My goal is to better everyone's standard of living and we can do that through a collective vision and strategy.
  • Respecting the environment and our planet. Climate change is a looking issue that future generations will have to address.
  • Creating value for our communities such as adding free school lunch for public school children and financial literacy to the curriculum.
Financial literacy in the school curriculum, legalized cannabis for GA, modernizing education, protecting voting rights for all, creating a robust healthcare delivery system, and strengthening environmental protections and expanding climate change policies in GA
Leadership, discipline, highly educated, careful decision maker, can take constructive criticism well, always seeking knowledge
I want to change the course of Georgia to make it more people and environment focused.
I remember entering pre-school at age 4. I met new friends and discovered I liked to write my name.
I worked for Kroger during high school. I worked there for 2 years.
Applied Economics; Thinking Beyond Stage 1 by Thomas Sewell

I read this book a few years and it has changed my perspective of drafting laws as opposed to good policy. Laws, at times, do not take into account unintended consequences and changes in human behavior to either comply or circumvent said laws. Creating good policy takes into account many predicted consequences and marginalized communities.
Growing up in MS without access to a lot of information I have now. Being put at a disadvantage in life.
