Kelly Kite
Kelly Kite (b. 1947) is a former Republican member of the Nevada State Assembly, representing District 39 from 2011 to 2012.
Biography
Kite's professional experience includes working as a licensed Nevada insurance agent. He also served in the United States Navy from 1966 to 1970.

On November 2, 2010, Kite won election to the Nevada State Assembly, defeating Joetta Brown (D) and David Schumann (Independent American). Kite defeated Jim Wheeler, Barbara Smallwood, and Janet Murphy in the June 8 primary election.

The Nevada Policy Research Institute, a Nevada-based conservative-libertarian think tank, releases a "Legislative Report Card" evaluating members of the Nevada State Legislature on "each lawmaker's voting record on legislation impacting the degree of economic freedom and education reform." Bills determined by the Institute to be of greater significance are weighted accordingly. According to the Institute, "a legislator with a score above 50 is considered to be an ally of economic liberty."[6]
