Kelly LaFave
Kelly LaFave is a judge of the Arapahoe County Court in Colorado. She assumed office in 2016. Her current term ends on January 12, 2027.
LaFave ran for re-election for judge of the Arapahoe County Court in Colorado. She won in the retention election on November 8, 2022.
LaFave joined the court upon the retirement of Judge Dana Murray.[1]
Biography
LaFave received a bachelor's degree from Arizona State University in 1987 and a J.D. from Arizona State University in 1991. She was a senior deputy district attorney in the 18th Judicial District from 2012 until her judicial appointment in 2016. LaFave's previous professional experience also includes the following positions: assistant district attorney in Denton County, Texas; consultant for Paige-Wheatcroft, Inc.; deputy county attorney in Pima County, Arizona; and special agent with the FBI in Sacramento, California.[1]
