Kelly V. Simmons is a judge for the Superior Court of Marin County in California. She was appointed by former governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2005 to succeed Lynn O'Malley Taylor. Simmons was automatically re-elected in 2012 and her current term will expire in January 2019.[1][2]

Education

Simmons received a bachelor's degree from California State University, San Diego and a J.D. from Pepperdine University.[2]

Career

2012 election

Simmons ran for re-election to the superior court in 2012. As an unopposed incumbent, her name did not appear on the ballot. After the primary election, Simmons was automatically re-elected.[3]
