In paperwork filed with the borough clerk, resident Chase Duncan cited "extreme and egregious incompetence in his elected position" as his reason for targeting Wolf.[1]

Duncan filed a petition on January 26. The recall was denied by the borough for not being particular enough. "In fact, the substance of the allegation contained in the Application, even if taken as true and assumed to be factually sufficient, appear to voice disagreement with the discretionary position taken by Assembly member Wolf, rather than particular incompetence," said the clerk's office in a response.[2]
