Biography
Waits was born in Rockford, Illinois. She earned a bachelor's degree for Wellesley College and master's degrees from both the University of Connecticut and the Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs, University of Minnesota.[1]

I enjoy working with different points of view, finding our common ground, and creating solutions together. I have been active in local and county government practices, working to improve the quality of life for all of our residents.
I have a Master's degree in Statistics from the University of Connecticut and a Master's in Public Policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs. As an elected official, my primary responsibility is to serve the people in our community; it would be my privilege to represent the voices of this district in St. Paul as your State Representative.
