Campaign website

King’s campaign website stated the following:

  • PROTECT LIFE
Kelvin’s mother was just 15 when he was born. He thanks God every day that she decided his life had value, even in the womb. Without the foundational principle of the “right to life,” there is no American dream. Kelvin will fight to protect our innocent unborn and ensure they too have the ability to dream big.
  • BAN CRITICAL RACE THEORY
Critical Race Theory or theories of any kind should never be utilized as sound doctrine. CRT is divisive and unAmerican and has no place in our schools or our military.
CRT in our Military Academies weakens us on the global main stage and focuses on creating Social Justice Warriors rather than Warfighters. Our leaders' job is to ensure our servicemen and women are best prepared to defeat our adversaries; they should not be forced to conform to every social issue of the day or cultural expectations. The military is where a wide variety of backgrounds and cultural differences come together to conform to the military's standard. Thus creating unit cohesion, good order, and discipline.
  • SECURE ELECTIONS
Voting is one of the most precious rights we have as Americans. We must equally protect the right of every legal citizen to vote and the integrity of our elections. Kelvin believes by requiring ALL voters, absentee and in person, to provide valid I.D. and eliminating “absentee drop boxes” we can create a more secure process. Kelvin also believes that the Constitution explicitly gives states the power to conduct their own elections. That is why he will adamantly oppose any attempted federal elections takeover.
  • DEFEND THE 2ND
As a veteran, Kelvin has a deep respect for firearms and the 2nd Amendment. Kelvin believes the Second Amendment is a life amendment. The purpose of the constitution is to protect our God-given rights - such as the right to life. Because God gave us the right to life, he has also given us the right to defend our lives. Kelvin will not support anything or anyone who seeks to infringe on our right to defend our lives. Kelvin will stand up to the Biden Administration and their agenda to trample our 2nd Amendment.
  • CUT FEDERAL SPENDING
As a conservative and a businessman, Kelvin is greatly concerned with America’s growing debt. He does not believe out-of-touch politicians should spend away our children’s future on things we didn’t ask for and don’t need. He believes we should cut spending by eliminating unconstitutional agencies (like the Department of Energy, Department of Education, EPA, and the IRS) and requiring all constitutional agencies to operate on a zero-based budget. Democrats recently tried to pass a multi-trillion dollar “human infrastructure” bill that would have been detrimental to our economy.
As a procurement officer in the US Air Force, Kelvin became very familiar with the supply chain and government spending. Procurement (Contracting) officers are the only authorized federal government representatives who can spend government (your) tax dollars. Having this background is excellent when it comes to understanding federal spending and knowing how to save your tax dollars. Kelvin will oppose any out-of-control spending that would burden the American people with crippling debt.
  • PRIORITIZE DEFENSE SPENDING
A strong America is a safe America, and that starts with ensuring our military has the funding it needs. Kelvin will support defense spending and fight any action to shut down Georgia military bases.
  • LOWER TAXES
Our economy flourishes when we lower taxes and allow American families to keep more of their hard-earned money. We can all agree, the government hasn’t used the funding they have responsibly. So, why would we give them more? Kelvin will never vote to raise taxes. In fact, he believes we should eliminate federal taxes and replace them with a consumption-based tax.
  • BUILD THE WALL
It is absurd that we live in a country where the government invests in a wall around the Capitol to protect politicians, but leaves families defenseless by stopping the construction of the border wall. Don’t buy the media’s leftist agenda… a wall is not racist; it is common sense.
  • STAND WITH ISRAEL
Israel is critical to our national defense. As the only beacon of democracy standing in the Middle East, it is crucial we foster United States-Israel relations and never waiver.
  • IMPROVE VETERAN CARE
As a veteran, Kelvin has seen firsthand how difficult it can be to go from military to civilian life. America has a duty to help those who have served transition into functional and productive members of society. We must also continue to solve the problems that exist in our VA, upgrade its technology, work to allow veterans to have more options in their health care, and hold service providers accountable.[2]
