Ken Goodman
Ken Goodman is a former Democratic member of the North Carolina House of Representatives, representing District 66 from 2011 to 2019. He left office in 2019 after Gov. Roy Cooper (D) appointed Goodman to a seat on the North Carolina Industrial Commission.[1]
Biography
Goodman earned his A.A. from Wingate University and his B.S. from Florida State University. When he served in the state House, his professional experience included working as the director of First Southern Savings Bank, as the chief financial officer of Richmond Yarns Inc., and as the owner of RW Goodman Inc. He served in the United States National Guard from 1969 to 1975.[2]

Goodman won election to the North Carolina House of Representatives after replacing incumbent Melanie Goodwin on the Democratic general election ballot. Goodman defeated James Parsons in the November 2 general election.[15][16]
