Ken McCarty
Ken McCarty (Republican Party) was a member of the Alaska House of Representatives, representing District 13. He assumed office on January 19, 2021. He left office on January 17, 2023.
McCarty (Republican Party) ran for election to the Alaska State Senate to represent District L. He did not appear on the ballot for the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Ken McCarty lives in Chugiak-Eagle River, Alaska. McCarty's career experience includes working in private practice as a licensed marriage and family therapist and as an adjunct professor at the University of Alaska at Anchorage. He has served as a trustee of the Alaska Mental Health Trust, the executive director of Discovery Cove Recovery and Wellness Center, the president of the Alaska Association of Marital and Family Therapists, and secretary of the Alaska Collaborative of Telemedicine and Teletherapy.[1]
