I want to empower government to streamline its response time so it does not move like a ship turning in molasses. We need a government that can mitigate the impact of the pandemic, respond quickly while promoting F.D.R.'s four freedoms.

                                                                   FREEDOM FROM WANT

I have lived in Las Vegas for over twenty years and am proud to be Vegas Strong. I am the son of an FDNY officer who worked at Ground Zero after serving in the military in both Vietnam and the Gulf War. I have been actively engaged in promoting projects that have not always been popular with Clark County Democratic leaders such as Amazon HQ2, light rail and the stadium project. I actively supported the community benefits component of the stadium during construction and am proud that the project has benefited small business, organized labor and the tourism industry while creating over four thousand construction jobs locally which paid at least market rate.
  • Don't allow smoking in Megaresorts to protect workers and guests health in post Covid world.
  • Increase PPP Public Private Partnerships on Infrastructure projects and highways.
  • Smart Cities that bridge the digital divide separating generations and rural communities.
I am passionate about Clark County. Together we have been affected by the events of 9-11, the Great Recession, October 1 and the pandemic. We have been dreamers together since our community was founded by Mormons or reinvented by Steve Wynn, E Thomas and Jerome Mack and other visionary leaders. We are exceptional and we must continue to dream, imagine in order to build a better future.
We have to take advantage of our comparative advantages in being creative, determined and passionate.
Accountability

Transparency

Meetings need to be more open to the public in the very near future.
I look up to my father because he enlisted in Vietnam and always gave selflessly to his country and family.
Being able to work across part lines to get actionable results that are efficient and effective. I would like to continue to implement many of the changes Commissioner James Gibson implemented in the City of Henderson streamlining applications for building projects in order to create jobs and spur our economy.
I looked forward not backward.
I remember Pope John Paul the Second speaking at Yankee Stadium. I was a young child whose mother had cut the cord on the tv and fix it because she wanted to watch the Pope give mass on tv. I was delighted because I got to watch cartoons again.
My first job was working at the East Harlem Tutorial in New York City during a summer in high school. I find it very rewarding to help people whether it is helping them learn English or play sports.
Ready Player One. It reminds me of the choose your own adventure books that I read as a child which I believe are really important in contributioning to an awareness of actively questioning the path you have chosen and future choices. We need leaders that play chess not checkers.
Sid Finch. I enjoy Yoga and have always wanted to visit Tibet. Sorry China.
Amazing Grace.
I hope the day comes soon when we can attend church if we choose and take solice in the power of those words as we graduate and prepare to rise up to the next level of challenges.
The Clark County District Attorney's Office and the Clark County Public Defenders Office do incredible work in confronting the very challenging situation of representing all of us in a world that looks to be increasingly dangerous.
The ability to express your opinions clearly and concisely although they may not be popular at that moment in time.
