An effort to recall Ward 2 City Director Ken Richardson is underway in Little Rock, Arkansas.[1]
Recall supporters
Recall organizer Pam Noble cited Richardson's absence from board meetings as the reason for the recall. Richardson last attended a city board meeting in May 2024. In August 2024, the city of Little Rock reported that Richardson was hospitalized and recovering from several life-threatening surgeries, but planned to resume his duties on the board.[1]

No specific grounds are required for recall in Arkansas. To get recalls on the ballot against mayors or members of boards of directors, supporters must collect signatures equal to 35% of ballots cast for all candidates for the office at the preceding primary at which the officials were nominated or elected. To get recalls on the ballot against school board members, supporters must collect signatures equal to 35% of eligible electors. Recall organizers have 90 days to collect signatures for the recall of a mayor or city director.[2][3][4]
The deadline to collect signatures is December 22, 2025.
