Ken Sanchez
Ken Sanchez was the nonpartisan District 1 representative on the Albuquerque City Council in New Mexico. First elected in 2005, Sanchez won a new term in the general election on October 3, 2017. Sanchez passed away on January 1, 2020.[1]
Biography
Sanchez's professional experience included serving as vice president of Gilbert Sanchez Tax and Accounting Services, president and qualified broker of Ken Sanchez & Associates Realty, an enrolled agent for the Internal Revenue Service, and as a financial advisor for HD Best.[2]

The city of Albuquerque, New Mexico, held elections for mayor and city council on October 3, 2017. The filing deadline for mayoral candidates was March 31, 2017, and the filing deadline for city council candidates was May 31, 2017.[3]
