An election to recall Mayor Ken Thomas was held on May 1, 1979, in Chandler, Arizona. Thomas was removed from his position as a result of the recall vote.[1]
Recall supporters
The recall effort was organized by a group called the Chandler United Recall Effort. Jerry Maxwell, who led the group, defeated Thomas in the recall election.[1]
