Ken Winters (Kentucky)
Ken Winters (b. June 27, 1934) is a former Republican member of the Kentucky State Senate, representing District 1 from 2005 to 2013.
Winters earned his B.S. from Murray State University. He went on to receive his M.S. from Indiana University. He then earned his Ph.D. from the University of Northern Colorado.
Winters was formerly enlisted in the United States Army Reserve. He is a former solider in the U.S. Army. He is also former Dean of the College of Industry and Technology at Murray State University. He is retired President of Campbellsville University.

Winters announced on January 30, 2012 that he would not seek re-election, citing health issues.[1]
2008
On November 8, 2008, Winters was re-elected to the First District Seat in the Kentucky State Senate, defeating Carroll Hubbard (D).[2] Winters raised $394,459 for his campaign, while Hubbard raised $304,887.[3]
